Character Breakfast

On April 2, 2011, TTU students put on a Character Breakfast for Relay for Life. Volunteers dressed up as loved Disney and other movie characters and visited with children of all ages while they enjoyed pancakes and orange juice.

Handy Manny was the BIGGEST hit of the day. He was constantly in the floor with the kids, teaching them about the tools.

Aladdin and Jasmine spent some time on a flying carpet too!

Minnie Mouse spent a lot of time at the kid's level, laughing and letting the kids get her nose. She was even tackled to the floor once by an aggressive huger!

Snow white and a beautiful snow white to be! The resemblance is beautiful!

The Princess group took a lot of group shots with the fairy tale castle background. I was fortunate enough to take photos at this event and be one of the princesses. I loved being Belle!



The whole group! Thank you to all who volunteered, it was an amazing group that loved children and did anything to put a smile on the kid's faces- including singing some of the Disney songs themselves!

Brittany + Timothy- Couple's Shoot

Brittany and TC were the first couple I was able to try my new camera, a Nikon D90, out on. And I LOVE the results. They are a wonderful couple, smiling the whole time and having fun during the shoot.

One of my favorite moments of the shoot was TC's eyes as we were on the railroad tracks: I noticed his eyes were watching something behind me, so I was thinking a vintage car was driving by or something....no, it was a police car, and he was making sure we wouldn't get in trouble for being on the tracks! Thanks TC, you kept us in line!


I love this shot! TC and Brittany had to help me down in a hole to get this shot, and then help me back out. Thank you to the two of you for helping me back out, but since I had the keys I guess it was necessary!
